Tour Route: Negombo -Wilpattuwa -Sigiriya – Kandy –Horton Place- Udawalawa-Mirissa- Hikkaduwa- Colombo City – Airport

  • Embark on an unforgettable Sri Lankan adventure, beginning with a relaxing arrival in Negombo, just north of Colombo. After your transfer from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB), unwind on the beach or explore the lagoon by boat, observing local life and diverse birdlife.
  • The next day, venture into Wilpattu National Park on a jeep safari, seeking leopards, elephants, and other wildlife amidst the unique “villus” (natural lakes).
    Afterward, journey to Dambulla, where you’ll explore the magnificent Dambulla Cave Temple, a UNESCO World Heritage Site filled with Buddha statues and murals. Consider an optional hot air balloon ride for stunning views. In the afternoon, ascend the iconic Sigiriya Rock Fortress, discovering ancient frescoes and water gardens, or climb Pidurangala Rock for a breathtaking sunset panorama of Sigiriya.
  • Continue to Kandy, stopping at a spice garden en route. Enjoy a traditional Kandyan dance performance in the evening. The following morning, visit the sacred Temple of the Tooth Relic before embarking on a scenic train journey to Nanu Oya (near Nuwara Eliya), winding through tea plantations and misty mountains.
  • Explore Horton Plains National Park, hiking to World’s End for dramatic views and visiting Baker’s Falls. Then, transfer to Ella, a charming hill country town. Hike to Little Adam’s Peak for panoramic vistas, visit the Nine Arch Bridge, or, for the more adventurous, hike to Ella Rock or visit Ravana Falls.
  • Next, experience Udawalawe National Park with an afternoon jeep safari, getting close to elephants in their natural habitat. From there, travel to Mirissa, a coastal town known for seasonal whale watching. An early morning tour offers the chance to spot blue whales and other marine life. Enjoy the sunset over the Indian Ocean.
  • Continue to Hikkaduwa, a beach town famous for coral reefs and surfing. Relax on the beach, snorkel, dive, or try surfing, and enjoy a seafood dinner.
  • Finally, for an added thrill, consider an optional skydiving experience over the southern coast of Sri Lanka. Afterward, explore Colombo with a city tour, visiting landmarks like Gangaramaya Temple, Independence Square, and Pettah Market, before your transfer back to Bandaranaike International Airport for your departure.
